Rev Dave and the Sin Eaters

Since the release of their first album, Dark Water, in 2020, Rev Dave and the Sin Eaters have received two MusicNL nominations for Folk/ Roots Artist of the year and two ECMA nominations for their 2022 album, Beams of Love, which was nominated in both the Blues and Country Categories. In 2024 the group released, Live at the Garrick Theatre, an 18 song double album with accompanying video.

Since its inception the band has served as a vehicle for collaboration with fine musicians from across NL: Tom Brennan, Dan Hiltz, Dave Barry, Louis McDonald, Scott Sheppard, Darryl Perrett, Andrea Monro, Kev Hamilton, Noah Hamilton, Wade Pinhorn and Craig Young.

2025 will see the release of Lost and Found which will see the band lean into its country roots.

Rev Dave and Jared Waterman are drawn together by their love of Americana music, of the country folk flavor. Separately they have been nominated for a number of MUSICNL and ECMA awards.

Together these singer-songwriters bring an entertainingly playful show that highlights well-crafted lyrics and sounds.

The Rev Dave Trio was a country/folk acoustic outfit that brought together the talents of Rev Dave, Ford Burden, and Kendra Parsons. This Country/Folk trio was known for their soulful, toe-tappin' performances that captivated audiences on the west coast of Newfoundland.

Regulars at Boomstick Brewing in Corner Brook and Merchant Warehouse in Woody Point, the Rev Dave Trio served up a unique blend of country, folk and blues that left fans craving more. Although the trio is no longer active, their legacy lives on as part of the Rev Dave Music family.

The Rev Dave Trio built a loyal following among music fans on the west coast. Their live shows were always highly anticipated, featuring a dynamic mix of originals, covers, and traditional tunes.

Songwriters circle was a beloved series of shows that took place under the umbrella of Rev Dave Music. Hosted by the charismatic David Peddle, this weekly event brought together a diverse array of musicians from all corners of Newfoundland.

Every Wednesday evening, music lovers from the West Coast would gather at Boomstick Brewing in Corner Brook, eager to experience the unique magic of these special shows. The series provided a vital platform for local musicians to connect, share their stories, and showcase their talents to an enthusiastic audience.

From seasoned veterans to emerging artists, the series celebrated the incredible diversity of Newfoundland's music scene. David Peddle's warm and engaging hosting style created a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, allowing performers to feel at ease and connect with the audience on a deeper level.
